Tardy Tuesday

-When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.

~their was just something so amazingly attractive about this man, i mean not sexually or any of that, i mean his stare and him, was so amusing i needed a picture.(lol) i know sounds funny. but i got the first shot with my camera, which was easy. well i was off to work on tuesday i was so stoked because i had a 12-4 shift, which rarely happends in my life since i started working,i was in a really good mood, and i thought it would be a good idea to take my camera on my trip to work, because i havent had much time to just go out and shoot some photograph's, and the ride there takes me about a hr specially taking public transportation, so i decided on bring the camera along.and 'Kill two birds with one stone' as they say. well i took the bus first ended up in downtown SD, and waited for about 30 mins for the trolley to come, and thats where i spotted this interesting human being.he was standing to my right side as you can see in the first picture. as the trolley came i hopped on one of the first carts i saw, and walked threw the isle's i didnt feel comfortable sitting at any of them. but then i saw him sitting alone at the very end of the trolley, and i thought to myself,"this is my chance for a portrait".
well i sat down across from him,and in my head i was so nervous, i kept thinking of ways of asking if i could take a photo of him, i kept looking around like a weirdo. and finally i looked at him and asked if it was okay if i could take a picture of him, he looked down and looked up at me and shook his head and his hands and sayed in a "no" motion that he didnt want me to.at that moment i felt my heart fall, the rejection was rough.(lol) then he looked at me and he pointed at his ears and shook his head. then i realized he couldnt hear, at this point in my head, i told my self " i NEED this picture"! i was determinded to get a photograph of him, i pulled out my slider phone, i acted as if i was texting and snap! i took the picture with my phone. i was so stoked my phone had a camera.so here it is the second photo was on my 2.0 mega pixel phone camera. i felt accomplished, :0)
and BTW that day i was sadly 2mins late to work, but i believe it was worth it. because that day was one not to forget. :-)

-Dali

Salvador Felipe Jacinto Dalí
(May 11, 1904 – January 23, 1989)
,

"If I'm going to be anything more than average, if anyone's going to remember me, then I need to go further in everything: in art, in life, in everything they think is real: morality, immorality, good, bad, I, we, have to smash that to pieces, we have to go beyond that, we have to be brave. no limit"SD

~cant begin to explain or at that express how much love i have for this ARTIST, i remember sneeking into my middle brothers room, just to get a glimps at mister dali's art work and this picture that is still so vivid in my memories and everytime i saw it, i just laughed and thought " who is this guy with the funny mustache"but as i got older i became more aware of his doings and his art. i think the odd thing about dali,in my perspective is that his art isnt what makes it odd,its him. without him the art would be great, dont get me wrong, its amazing work but it would just be there,a crazy trip on the art,but the way he presents himself and his art, i think is what makes his art alive and amazing,i adore anything that has to do with salvador dali.and thanks to that odd picture, i have been really interested in art and see life in different perspectives other than the norm.
